Rooibos Teas are derived from the South African bush Aspalathus linearis. They are also commonly referred to as red teas. The name “Rooibos” roughly translates into “red bush” from Afrikaans. Teas made from this plant have been popular in Southern African and the Netherlands for hundreds of years. Rooibos teas blend very well with chocolate and vanilla and fruits.
